An operational coordinator with the Lynnwood, WA-based electric company Act on Electric, Parahat Akyshov oversees a team of project managers and other specialized technical professionals to constantly expand company operations. He directs every stage of the project development process from early stage meetings and contract negotiations to detailed project planning and safe project execution. Before joining Act on Electric in 2015, Parahat Akyshov served a year as an electrical department manager for Chyzgy General Contractors in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, and two years as a lead electrician for Essential Electric in Long Island, New York.
Outside of the professional environment, Mr. Akyshov is an amateur pilot, a voracious reader, an avid world traveler, and a gourmet cook. His diverse interests are further reflected in his educational background. In addition to his electrical engineering studies at City College of New York, Mr. Akyshov has completed international criminal justice coursework at John Jay College in New York City and English coursework at Long Island University in Brooklyn.
